The Elemental Series 

The tablet stands and smart phone holders of the Elemental Series are made from reclaimed quarter-sawn old growth oak. Old growth oak is relatively rare – it has been estimated that only 1% – 5%  of current forest land is ‘old’ growth. Compared to ‘new’ recently harvested ‘farmed’ oak, old growth oak has a very distinctive look of tighter grain structure, resulting from the natural disturbances that old growth wood experiences over its longer life story and slower growth.
